Our philosophy
Design is a discipline, not a luxury.
We started LMR Interiors because we kept seeing the same thing: clients who wanted beautiful spaces but felt priced out of the design world. The industry had trained people to believe that good design was expensive by definition.
We disagree. Great design is about clarity of vision, deep knowledge of materials and sourcing, and the discipline to make every decision count. A bigger budget doesn't make a space feel considered. Knowing exactly where every dollar goes does.
That's the promise behind our tagline, and it's the standard we hold ourselves to on every project, from a single-room refresh to a full development build-out.
Meet the founder
Le'Marr Hue
Principal Designer & Founder
Le'Marr Hue, founder of LMR Interiors, built her eye for design from the inside of some of New York's most demanding construction sites. As a global purchaser for one of the city's most prestigious real estate developers, she sourced finishes and furnishings across an unusually wide range of properties: high-rise residential towers, luxury condominiums, a hotel, churches, landmark buildings, and affordable housing developments. That range gave her a ground-level understanding of what makes a space work, and what it actually costs to get it right.
Her background spans both sides of the business: eight years in accounting, followed by a move into purchasing in 2016, where her negotiation skills and sourcing strategy built cost-effective relationships with manufacturers across Asia and Europe. It's a rare combination: a designer's eye, a negotiator's instinct, and an accountant's discipline for the numbers. That's what LMR Interiors brings to every project: a vision that's beautiful, and a budget that's honest from day one.
